Deze Acti 9 SmartLink Modbus Slave is een slimme communicatiemodule met 11 kanalen. Het communiceert met de hulpelementen iACT24 voor iCT-contactoren, iATL24 voor iTL-impulsrelais, iOF+SD24 voor iC60, iID, ARA, RCA & iSW-NA. Deze moet worden gekoppeld aan een Master SmartLink SI B dankzij de Modbus RS485-connector. Het wordt gebruikt om gegevens van Acti 9-apparaten over te zetten naar een PLC of netwerkbewakingssysteem dankzij de Ethernet-connector. Het communiceert ook met OF+SD24 voor C60, C120, DPN, ID & C60H-DC, Ti24 voor RCA iC60 & Reflex iC60. Het wordt geleverd met 1 voedingsconnector 24VDC, 2 bouten voor montage op Linergy FM80. De verbinding is Modbus, RTU, RS485 seriële verbinding. De overdrachtsnelheid kan automatisch worden aangepast van 9600 tot 19200 baud. Het Modbus het richten waaier is 1 tot 99. Het is een 4-pins connectortype van bus. Het is een plug-inverbinding. De maximumlengte van de bus is 1000m. De maximale kabellengte is 500 m. De spanningsvoeding is 24VDC +/-
