The belt has a diameter of 6 mm, a length of 30 m and a high working-load capacity of 7.6 kg based on an 8% tension. Polyurethane offers high tensile strength and good elasticity, so its often preferred over rubber as its easier to connect and manipulate. This is especially practical where a twist is needed to drive a pulley at an angle. The polyurethane material is also high performing, as its extremely resistant to oil, chemicals and abrasion.
