The MAX3483AE and MAX3485AE are half-duplex transceivers. The MAX3488AE, MAX3490AE, and MAX3491AE are full-duplex transceivers. The MAX3483AE/85AE have a 1-unit load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 32 transceivers on the bus.
